Kinfolk Outpost Black Friday Nature Walk Event

Health & Wellness AND Governance & Economics Pillars

We are honored to partner with Rab's Roots for a Black Friday Nature Walk. Instead of shopping on Black Friday, participate in an alternative. What's more revolutionary than focusing on connecting with the land!

Rabiyah Amina is an herbalist, birthworker, and community researcher dedicated to reclaiming wellness through ancestral knowledge, self-determined healing, and collective care. As the founder of Rab’s Roots, she is building an herbal farmstead in Hampton Roads—a sanctuary for holistic wellness, herbal education, and community gathering.

8163202523330735468Her work centers on Black and Indigenous families, creating spaces where people can reconnect with the land, their health, and each other. From intimate tea gatherings to large-scale community events like Spring Fling '26, Rabiyah curates experiences that decolonize wellness, celebrate innate talents, and restore intergenerational knowledge-sharing.

Through education, herbal medicine, and land stewardship, she is committed to shifting healthcare and community resources from reactive to intuitive, ensuring that people have the tools to thrive beyond systemic limitations.
